Mission
To
identify career development needs, structure innovative mentorship
programs, nurture leadership characteristics and provide hands-on
training strategies to create opportunities to address emergent urban
girls pursuing traditional and non-traditional careers.
Goal
Structured
to meet the needs of the prominent High School and Elementary School
student, this real life decision making mentorship program will help to
cultivate their interest in public and private sector careers. The
Ambassadors will work in coordination with the Honorable Mayor Wayne
Smith and the Irvington Municipality. These future leaders will
research and analyze how an urban community prospers in a global
economy. They will have the opportunity to travel, explore and intern
career opportunities both domestically and internationally.
